I'm Andelae.
Yes my name means "Hurry up" in Spanish! I'm not as fast as Speedy Gonzales, but I am a fast concise worker.

I am a UX Researcher who drives human EMPATHY at the forefront of research. I am passionate about understanding the unique needs of people and to identify the problems they are facing. I enjoy finding a creative solution to the problem by utilizing user research and usability testing.

About Me
Background
My researcher brain lives in the WHAT and my researcher heart lives in the WHY? I am passionate about understanding the unique needs of people and to identify the problems they are facing. I strive to provide actionable insights that enable evidence-based decisions for inclusive product development.
I am a lifelong learner and my core strengths are empathy, being adaptive, and advocating for the customer.

I have 15 year experience in social services/psychology as an Art Therapist. My skills as an Art Therapist has allowed me to get a better understanding of human behavior and problem solving. My passion for understanding humans has led me to the field of UX/UI. And it turns out that UX is not much different from Art Therapy as you may think.

Experience
I have a drive to figure out the problem and how to fix it. I have been helping Health Carousel for the past year and half to gather a better understanding of their customers pain points from using remote user interviews, survey, usability testing, and so much more.
Where you can find me
When I am not researching or designing, you can find me in the studio making pottery, crafting a cocktail, riding my bike, or playing a mean game of pickleball!
